Step 1: Pick a song that is easy to sign (since you’re the beginners)

Step 2: Gloss the lyric

Step 3: Practice signing with very fluent signer

Step 4: Gather critiques

Step 5: Use those critiques to fix your mistakes

Step 6: Practice yourself ALONE until you’re ready to finalize.

Step 7: Show your finalized performance to fluent signer

Step 8: If the fluent signer says OK, then you’re on your own. But you have to understand that you will still get critiques.
